The first time Brandon and Josie saw each other was at a mutual friends 21st in December of 2016. Josie saw Brandon across the room when he and his family walked in an HOUR after it started and Josie remembers thinking to herself, who is that gorgeous man?!! Josie genuinely believed it was love at first sight for her...and as for Brandon... pretty sure he was too focused on taking off his button up top just to put it back on 5mins later and then waiting another 5mins to take it off again.. just to put it back on! That continued for the remainder of the 21st...wasn't like Josie was looking over to his table every 5mins.. (a ha haa). They never spoke a word to each other until the following year in late August of 2017 after watching a basketball game of Brandon and Josie's brothers playing, when Brandon had asked one of them if they knew of any local braiders in town and they of course pointed to Josie, and said she knows how to braid... The words "Do I have to..." came out as if Josie was nonchalant about the whole interaction... when really, 17 year old Josie was a different level of awkward and rude... and hard out girl-fanning in that moment! Brandon then came to get his hair braided at her house that night and then he continued to get his hair braided 3-4x a week... Josie was DEFINITELY NOT that good at braiding!! Although it never occurred to her that Brandon was feeling the same way she was, until the 7th October 2017, Brandon asked Josie on a date to the movies and then to be his girlfriend after he was silently sweating throughout the entire 2hour movie. Josie remembers going home and thinking to herself.. "I have a boyfriend!! My first ever boyfriend!!" And now, 8 years later that same man is going to be her husband!! EEEPPPP
