What is the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is mountain formal—think elegant, elevated style with a hint of outdoorsy charm to match our setting. We’d love for you to lean into the mountain vibe—cowboy boots and bolo ties are absolutely welcome. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in—we can’t wait to celebrate with you! For women, we suggest long, flowing dresses in soft pastel tones or floral prints. You may wear heels, but keep in mind the terrain—block heels, wedges, dressy flats or cowgirl boots may be more comfortable. For men, suits or jackets are perfect, whether matching or tastefully mixed and matched. Ties are optional, but encouraged if you’d like to dress it up a bit!

How do I get to Crested Butte?
Answer
To reach Crested Butte, you have two options: fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and enjoy a scenic 4.5-hour drive to Crested Butte, or fly into Gunnison–Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC), conveniently located just 30 minutes away. We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Where do I stay?
Answer
Crested Butte offers a variety of wonderful lodging options, but as a small mountain town, rooms tend to book up quickly—especially during the beloved summer wildflower season. If you plan to join us for our special day, we encourage you to reserve accommodations as soon as possible. For our recommended stays, please visit the Travel tab above. If lodging in Crested Butte is unavailable, the nearby city of Gunnison is a great and cheaper alternative.

Where will the celebrations take place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Ten Peaks venue in Crested Butte. As this venue sits mid-mountain, the only way to get there will be via transportation provided by us. We’ll share more details about pickup times and locations as the date gets closer.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding to adults only, so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night! Children and babies are welcome to join us for the farewell brunch on Sunday, July 19. Please reach out to the couple if you are planning to bring your child/ren. What is the weather like in July?
Answer
Expect warm, sunny days with average highs in the mid-70s°F—perfect for enjoying the wildflowers in full bloom—and cooler evenings that can dip into the 40s°F. We recommend bringing layers, as mountain weather can change quickly and the nights can feel crisp even in summer.
