We first crossed paths as grade school rivals, before high school brought us back into each other’s lives. We met officially during our freshman year at a party where we laughed and joked the whole time. From that point on those two brace face teenagers spent the rest of highschool finding their way back to each other. Whether that was cheering one another on in sporting events, or getting caught by the cops trespassing on the roof of a Church. When it was our turn to leave after graduation, we spent six years apart. Jayna at Arkansas State and later SLU, and Brandon at Mizzou. Staying connected despite the distance. After 6 years and many hours spent on facetime eventually, Jayna moved to Kansas City to be with Brandon while he finished dental school at UMKC. Last August, Brandon proposed surrounded by family, and after 11 years together, we are finally getting married!
