The Wedding Website of Jane Lim and Brandon Rhodes
We’re so grateful to our friends and family journeying from all over the world to celebrate with us in Lisbon! Here, you’ll find everything you need to plan your trip—hotel blocks, transportation details, and more.

Flight

Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS)

Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) is Lisbon’s main international airport, located just 15 minutes from the city center. The quickest and most convenient way to reach your accommodation is via Uber or Bolt, both of which are widely available and affordable. We recommend arriving in Lisbon by Friday, October 3rd, to give yourself time to settle in and soak up the city’s charm.

Travel Note

Visas

Passport holders from the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Malaysia can enter Portugal visa-free for up to 90 days.

Hotel

EPIC SANA Marquês Hotel

8 Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, Lisboa, Lisboa 1069-310, Portugal

We’ll be staying at EPIC SANA Marquês, a beautiful hotel in central Lisbon, right next to a large park and just steps from the Marquês de Pombal metro and train stations—making it super easy to explore the city. We’ll have shuttles to the wedding venue departing from this hotel on the big day. More details to come! Guests can book their room via the link below. When booking, be sure to click on the "More Rates" dropdown to view all pricing options, including our discounted rate. Please note: pricing may vary depending on when you book, as the hotel is currently offering advance purchase discounts (which may change over time). Lisbon is a very walkable and transit-friendly city, so feel free to stay wherever feels right for you. If you’re looking for other options, here are a few more hotels recommended by our planner, Carolina: Dare Lisbon River Pestana Lisboa Vintage Locke de Santa Joana Memmo Alfama

Getting Around

Lisbon is a walkable city, perfect for exploring on foot. However, with its hilly streets and cobblestone pathways, we recommend packing comfortable walking shoes. For getting around the city with ease, Uber is widely available and a popular choice for both locals and visitors. Alternatively, you can take the subway—there’s a station conveniently located near the Epic Sana Marquês Hotel if you'd prefer this option for exploring the city.

Travel Note

Weather

In early October, Lisbon enjoys mild and pleasant weather, with average temperatures ranging from 17°C (63°F) in the evenings to around 23°C (73°F) during the day. It's a great time to visit, with plenty of sunshine and cooler evenings, making it perfect for outdoor celebrations. We recommend bringing layers to stay comfortable as temperatures can dip in the evening.

Travel Note

WhatsApp

We highly recommend downloading WhatsApp before your trip. We’ll have dedicated group chats to keep everyone connected and share real-time updates throughout the weekend.
