We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We are requesting a Black-Tie Encouraged dress code for the evening. "Black-Tie Encouraged" means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. Please reserve the color white for the bride.

We love all of our friend's and family's children! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice allows you time to make arrangements, and we encourage you to use this evening as a fun date night!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your wedding invitation. We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our close friends and family.

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please do not RSVP late!

Complimentary valet and shuttle service will be provided at the Main Inn to transport guests to the May River Chapel.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm, but we kindly ask guests to arrive at the main gate 45-60 minutes prior to the ceremony. Complimentary valet and shuttle service will be provided at the Main Inn to transport guests to the May River Chapel.

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony/reception?
Answer
In order to ensure we are fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment, and we would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!
