Emily and Brandon’s love story started with a match. Emily never wanted to do online dating but begrudgingly agreed when her friend refused to traverse alone in the wild world of ghosting and catfishing. After matching, Brandon jumped on scheduling a date in person. Brandon was convinced that Emily was too good to be true and Emily was worried that she would end up with her own investigation ID story so their families went undercover. Emily’s mom sat at another table at the restaurant and Brandon’s sister sat in her car outside. The warranted skepticism soon faded as to everyone’s relief, Emily was not a catfish and Brandon is more interested in baking cupcakes than commenting crimes. So the spies left and they talked for over three hours. Fast forward two years and the matched pair continue to fall in love with each other everyday.
