Flight

Airports: Key West, Miami, Fort Lauderdale

-If flying into the Key West airport, no matter where you are staying on the island it will only take you 10-15 mins max to get to your accommodations! There are plenty of taxis at the airport as well as Uber/Lyft. -If you are trying to save money, instead of flying directly into Key West, we recommend flying to Fort Lauderdale/Miami. We have done this many times and you can conveniently rent a car & drive down the keys! The drive typically takes 3-5 hrs depending on traffic, with many places to stop for scenic views & restaurants. -We recommend returning the car when you get to KW at the Key West airport. It's best to get around key west on bikes... check out the "Things to Do" tab for bike rentals!

Rental Homes

If you prefer to rent a home rather than stay in a hotel we definitely recommend booking ASAP especially if staying only a few nights! The best options are Air b n b, Vrbo & Last Key Realty (click “view” below to view website). There are a very limited number of properties available for a 1 week stay and even less for nightly stays. Not always, but usually rentals are more expensive than hotels.
