We're getting married!

We met through a film friend group. Three years ago, I was taking a film class at Liberty University and there was this guy named Able sitting behind me. He was talking about DnD, a popular roleplaying game, that I started playing with my cousin when I first went to Liberty. Able mentioned this group that he was a part of that watches films and plays DnD. I turned around in my seat and mentioned that I liked Dnd. He invited me to the friend group and that's when I met Ella. After the first meeting, I would hang out with them every week and grew closer to all of them. During that time, I became best friends with Ella and we started bonding. We helped each other through both our best and worst days. Over the summer of 2023, we would talk and play video games together. It wasn't until the fall of 2023 that I started developing feelings for her. Around the same time, she developed feelings for me. Around our third short film, Ella confessed that she had feelings for me. I confessed that I had feelings for her and then we started dating. I asked her to be my girlfriend a while later and then we bonded even closer over that time. On October 31st, 2024, I asked her to marry me and the rest is history.

My friend Able had put together a game of DnD. He'd texted in the group chat a few hours before that he was inviting a guy he met in class, Brandon. I, being an introvert, was lowkey kind of annoyed. I was shy and wasn't emotionally prepared to meet anyone else. I almost turned around, but I thought to myself, "Hey, you never know, maybe you'll marry him". We hit it off almost immediately and pretty soon became the best of friends. Brandon became the person I would go to for advice or if I needed cheering up. After a while, people started asking me if we were more than friends, and adamantly, I would say, "Nope, just really good friends!" Well, low and behold, it turns out I was in intense denial. I'm not sure the exact moment I realized I wanted to be more than friends, but I know I was in the middle of making a short film. I dragged my friend Mychal to the bathroom and told her that I thought I might have a crush on Brandon. Mychal encouraged me to tell him (everyone say thank you, Mychal!), so a few days later, I confessed my feelings to Brandon over the microphone in the edit lab. Fortunately, Brandon felt the same, and we went on our first date a few days later. He asked me to be his girlfriend on October 21st 2023. On October 31st 2024, a year and a little later, he asked me to be his wife. The rest is history, I guess!
