Maid of Honor
I met Yesica on our first day as high schoolers. She became my die-or-die immediately. She never said no to my many crazy ideas, and because of that, we have many embarrassing, fun, wild, and… did I say embarrassing? Stories! Crashing a wedding, getting lost in Downtown, buying “las pulo” lol . I was there by her side on her wedding day as the Maid of Honor, and now she will do the same for me. It is crazy to think about those two girls that would walk the halls of Boswell High School, singing songs in Spanish, after asking for permission to go the library are: one married, and the other one getting there! I’m so happy that our friendship survived all these years, and that we get to share such special moments together. Thank you for being my Maid of Honor!
Bridesmaid
I met Janeth in high school. We were not just going to the same school, but we were also neighbors. Janeth is so easy to talk to! Which is one of the reasons why we are still friends. I remember how she used to make me laugh when we were on our way home after school. It’s amazing how whenever we talk, it’s like no time has passed, and we can laugh for hours. It is wonderful to know that I have someone that can give me great advice. I was Janeth’s bridesmaid, and now she gets to be mine! I remember when she asked me to be her bridesmaid, she said, one day I will do the same for you. At the moment I was trying to obtain my second bachelor’s degree, and getting married wasn’t part of my plans but she was right! Thank you Janeth because even after so many years, we are still here!
