What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit and tie in any color and women wear a midi-to-maxi cocktail dress.

What is the address of the venue?
Answer
The venue is Twin Oaks Golf Course at 1425 N Twin Oaks Valley Rd, San Marcos, CA 92069. Please note: There is another Twin Oaks wedding venue nearby - we recommend entering the address above in your GPS.

What time should I arrive to the venue?
Answer
Please arrive at 3:30pm - the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?
Answer
Yes! There will be a shuttle from The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter leaving promptly at 2:30pm on June 14th, and there will be a shuttle back there after the reception concludes. All guests are welcome to take the shuttle from The Westin, even those who are not staying at the hotel. We kindly ask anyone who is planning on taking the shuttle to let Lisa Wilder know in advance to ensure everyone has a seat. Her cell is 516-655-0312.

Do you have any hotel suggestions?

Please see the Travel tab for a few hotel recommendations! We have a block of rooms at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, where the shuttle will be picking up/dropping off, but we provided other options as well. In addition, there are a lot of Airbnb options in downtown San Diego and closer to the venue in San Marcos.

Yes, there is a large lot right next to the venue entrance.

What is the weather typically like in June?
Answer
June can be a bit fickle! While we are hoping for sunshine and moderate heat, San Diego is known for the sporadic "June gloom" so we suggest you bring an extra layer for the evening, if needed.
