FAQs

The Wedding Website of Crystal Vincent and Brandon Robinson
Question

Will you be attending our wedding?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP and confirm your attendance or send your regrets by March 22, 2026. We want to ensure that we plan accordingly for our guests who will be attending.

Question

What time should guests arrive to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive and be seated for the wedding ceremony by 2:45 p.m.

Question

Is there a specific dress code?

Answer

To be perfectly honest, we care far more about seeing you than what you choose to wear on our special day but to help keep it classy, please trade the t-shirts and sneakers for something a bit more "fancy" for our big day. To add to the ambience, we are hoping to create and share with you, please wear whatever makes you feel beautiful or handsome (but won't get you questioned by authorities) and resembles cocktail attire/semi-formal wedding attire/Sunday best. Ladies, please refrain from wearing lavender or white.

Question

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Although we love children, we respectfully request that you leave the little ones at home for this special occasion. We kindly request no children as we invite our family and friends to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Question

Can I bring a date (plus one)?

Answer

We have reserved seats in your honor and can only accommodate those named on the invitation. We look forward to an intimate evening surrounded by friends and family that are near and dear to us in our daily lives and who have supported us since the very beginning.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the grounds of the Menard Home. While we cannot predict the weather forecast, we anticipate and pray for a beautiful day with moderate temperatures. The reception will be held inside at the Ashton Villa with access to outdoor courtyards.

Question

Where should I sit?

Answer

We do not believe in stuffy seating charts and anything too formal makes us feel uncomfortable. We invite you to sit wherever you would like. We just ask that the front rows of the ceremony be reserved for the immediate family of the Bride and Groom. There will be open seating at the reception as well and we encourage you to move around, mingle, and even dance!

Question

Can I take pictures and videos?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be "unplugged" to ensure our photographer is able to do her best work in capturing our big day. We kindly ask that you respect our wishes, and the photographer, by turning off and stashing away any personal devices until after we say our "I Dos". After the completion of the ceremony, knock yourself out and take as many photos and videos as you want. QR codes will be provided throughout the reception space making it easy for our guests to upload and share pictures and videos all in one place - no apps required. We want to enjoy each moment through your eyes as well! So, make those funny, or serious, videos sending us well wishes, catch the awkward moves on the dance floor, take selfies, take group pics, capture the decor,...all of it! Then be sure to add all of the great memories to our digital guestbook.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

No, we ask that our guests travel from the ceremony to the reception on their own. The locations are 1.4 miles (less than 5 minutes) apart from one another.

Question

Is there free parking available for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at both venues for our guests. Parking for the ceremony is located behind the Menard Hall at 3302 Avenue. O. If you are coming in from Broadway, turn right on 33rd Street. Continue on 33rd Street and turn right on Avenue O. Almost immediately you will see the parking lot on your right behind the Menard Hall. Parking for the reception is located behind the Ashton Villa estate in a complimentary parking lot or park for free along the side streets. The main entrance is located facing Broadway.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding we are saving for a romantic honeymoon as a newly wed couple and towards our forever home: https://www.honeyfund.com/site/vincent-robinson-04-12-2026

Question

How can I be sure to shake it for all to see at the reception?

Answer

DJ Jesse will be there to ensure everyone has a great time partying together and that no seat gets too warm. He generously has shared that he does take song requests so feel free to approach him with any requests of what you'd like to hear and dance to. We highly encourage it - no genre is off-limits so have fun with it!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, drinks are on us, hangover is on you! We will have an open bar with a selection of beer, wine, liquor, and of course...margarit-os! Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for our guests.

Question

Is smoking allowed at the venue locations?

Answer

We are sorry to inconvenience anyone but because both sites are historical properties, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere within the Menard and Ashton Villa properties. We ask that our guests please respect this as we are under a contractual obligation to abide by this rule. Please exit the property to smoke.
