We’re Getting Married

Charlotte threw her hair up in a ponytail and laced up her sneakers, getting ready for an early workout before work. As she walked into Planet Fitness, she recognized the cute guy behind the desk. Embarrassed by her early morning appearance she scanned in quickly and hurried off to the stair master. “That’s him” she thought, “that’s the guy I matched with last night on hinge (a dating app)”. They hadn’t communicated on it yet, but it was a weird coincidence that he was there. After the workout Charlotte planned to quickly exit but she thought she heard Brandon say “Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?”. He didn’t. Charlotte was just in her head because, gosh he was just so much cuter in person. She awkwardly said, “Have a great day, bye!” As she left the building. But then proceeded to sit in her car for 10 minutes trying to craft a casual message to him on hinge. Here’s what she landed on “Hey I just left planet fitness and I think I saw you there. I knew you looked familiar”. To which he replied “Shut up. No way. You were not just here. I thought I saw someone triple take on their way out”. From there they talked all day and met in person again at the desk the next morning while Brandon was randomly doing a free hand drawing of Mike Wizowski from Monsters Inc. It turns out they had lived one block away from one another for 2 years. But meeting on that November day was the most perfect timing.
