St. Joseph
St. Joe is a quintessential Michigan beach town. If you stay downtown, you'll be within walking distance of Silver Beach where you can enjoy Lake Michigan's salt-free, shark-free waters. Downtown, there are plenty of restaurants and shops overlooking the water. We recommend a visit to Tosi's bakery for a coffee and lemon meringue tart!
Saugatuck
Camille's favorite beach town!!! Located about an hour from St. Joseph, here is the recipe for a perfect day: - Arrive in downtown Saugatuck (beware, cell service may be spotty) - Grab a coffee at Uncommon Coffee Roasters - Obtain an Italian Job sandwich at the Boardwalk Deli - Drive to Saugatuck Dunes State Park - Enjoy a 1 mile walk through the woods to a secluded sandy beach!
