Brandon and I met each other through mutual friends while we were both attending college in Grand Rapids, MI. We knew each other for a few years before we officially started dating in 2017. We were both attending a wedding for our friends, and although we didn’t attend the wedding together, we ended up spending much of the night talking to each other. A few days later Brandon messaged me and asked me out on a date. The rest is history!

Brandon and I went camping on Lake Michigan to celebrate three years of being a couple. We were at the beach getting ready to walk back to camp when Brandon surprised me and proposed. He said, “Before we go back I want to show you something” and he got down on his knee. The funny thing is, I got down on my knee too, because I thought he was showing me something in the sand. I jumped back up when I realized what was happening, and of course I said “Yes!!”
