Our Story
Baylie and Brandon’s love story began in college—just not at the same one. Brandon was visiting his cousin (now the best man) at Chico State, where Baylie was in school. After a little convincing, she agreed to go out—and they instantly clicked. Soon after, Baylie talked him into coming back for a Halloween party. Despite his many excuses, she won.
From there, they mastered long distance, meeting halfway whenever they could. Even when the miles stretched farther when Brandon left for college, they continued making each other a priority. After college, they both moved home, closing the gap to just an hour and a half.
Between busy work schedules and coaching high school teams, they stayed focused on their dream of buying a home and closing the distance for good. In summer 2025, they moved in together and not long after, Brandon proposed—and Baylie said YES!
Against all odds, they made it work because their love runs deep—and they can’t wait for forever!
