Flight
OPO Airport in Porto is the closest airport to our venue. From there, you can get to the venue by train or car. By car: You can rent a car, hire a private car service, or take Uber/Bolt/taxi from the airport. Ride shares are easy to find and usually the simplest option. The drive to Douro takes ~1.5 hours. By train: Take a taxi or Uber from OPO to Porto São Bento station. The drive to the station takes ~15-20 minutes, but be sure to allow extra time for customs and potential traffic. From Porto São Bento, the train to Regua station takes ~2 hours 15 minutes and costs ~€10. The train ride is beautiful and a must-do activity in itself! The drive from Regua station to Quinta da Pacheca is ~8 minutes; the drive from Regua station to Vila Galé is ~20 minutes. There are usually taxis waiting at the station, but sometimes there's a wait. If you'd like to guarantee a ride, call or email your hotel prior to your trip and ask them to organize a pickup from the station. They’ll be happy to set it up for you!
