The couple met at the end of college through one of the bride's best friends & roommates at the time who was in the accounting program with the groom - shoutout to Abbey Peterson (who is also a bridesmaid)! We first briefly met at the bride's favorite bar in Madison where she spent *a lot* of her weekends (RIP to Chaser's, we love you forever). The bride continued hanging around "the accountants" and after a day full of baseball & bar hopping, the groom grew the courage to ask the bride out on their first date where he took her to Graze on the square. Shortly after, the couple became official after the bride met his family for the first time at the groom's cabin on Lake Wisconsin which has become a place of special memories for the couple.

The couple got engaged on July 3rd, 2021 at the groom's family cabin. The groom completely took the bride by surprise when they were sitting on the dock with two very close friends, and out of nowhere multiple boats with balloons started driving towards them, one having a sign. The bride was oblivious at first but after a little coaching to read the sign, she was in total disbelief to read "BAILEY, WILL YOU MARRY ME?". The boats were filled with both our families & closest friends from near and far which made the day so very special. It really could not have been more perfect & it will be a day we will forever cherish.
