If you're flying out of a NYC airport, please note that there is typically only one flight per day to Liberia (LIR). We've found that JetBlue out of JFK often offers a direct flight at the most affordable price. The international airport closest to Las Catalinas is Liberia International Airport (LIR). Depending on the route, the airport is about an hour away by car.

He'll work with your group to get everything arranged smoothly and ensure you're set up with the best option for your arrival. Taxis are an easy and convenient way to get around Costa Rica. From our experience, they’re safe, reliable, and very easy to work with. There are taxis right outside of the airport when you arrive. There are two different routes to get to Las Catalinas. One takes a bit longer than the other. We recommend asking your taxi driver if they can take you via the Monkey Trail!
