Officiant
Our officiant, Holly, is so much more than my (Amy's) cousin. She's truly like a sister and my very best friend. We grew up side by side, just four months apart, and have shared every one of life's milestones together. Holly is one of the most brilliant, thoughtful, and genuine people we know, and there is no one who understands us- and our relationship- better than she does. Having her stand with us on this day means everything. We couldn't be more honored to have her marry us.
Flower Girl
Our flower girl, Harriet, is our sweet niece (and Holly's daughter) who has been dreaming of this role long before we were even engaged. From the moment she learned what a flower girl was, she's been asking Brandon if she could be one- and he finally made her dreams come true. Harriet was actually a very special part of our engagement over Christmas 2024, where Brandon made her a key player in one of the most meaningful moments of our lives. She is the sweetest little soul and a true lover girl, and we couldn't imagine our day without her.
Flower Girl
And then there's Juju- born Jude Procter, but she will quickly let you know her name is "Juju" if you call her by her government name. Our niece Juju is Holly's youngest daughter and brings the perfect spark to our day. She's bold, full of personality, and pure fire in the best way. Where Harriet is all sweetness, Juju is her perfect counterpart- the yin to her sweet yang. Together, they make the most dynamic little duo, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
The Matchmaker
While we're not having a traditional wedding party, we would be remiss to not give a special mention to our friend, Trent. Brandon and Trent have been friends since high school in Salina, KS, and their friendship only grew stronger when Brandon moved to Phoenix while Trent was in his radiology residency program. Amy met Trent later during his Interventional Radiology fellowship year, where they worked together at Saint Louis University Hospital, and they quickly became great friends. In February 2022, Amy visited Trent in Phoenix with their friends Afsheen & MK, and that's where she met Brandon. The rest is history. While Trent may not have been initially trying to set us up, he had told each of us separately that we would "really like the other one." Safe to say, he was right. We're so grateful for his friendship and the role he unknowingly played in bringing us together.
