Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately our space is limited and there will be alcohol and loud music so for those reasons, unless listed on your invitation envelope, we ask that you leave your littles at home and enjoy a date night out with us!

What should I wear?
Answer
Dress code is semi formal but we encourage everyone to dress in something comfortable for an outdoor backyard ceremony and reception. Fun colors encouraged ;)

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately our space is limited and we will have prearranged seating at the reception so that everyone will be surrounded by friends. We ask that you please do not bring anyone not listed on your invite without first reaching out to Alix or Brandon.

Maid of Honor
Aimee is Alix's maid of honor and favorite sister ;)! Also her only sister, and as Alix says her "built in bestie". Alix also gained a brother in law when Aimee married Anthony in the winter of 2023 as well as made Alix "Auntie Alix" for the very first time with their new bundle of joy, Lucia, born in December! This has been a special time for the (former) Martinez girls and they can't wait to celebrate even more in June!
Dominique "Doms" Miller

Dominique or "Doms" as her friends call her, is Alix' #1 girl! They have been best friends since they met in 2022, while singing for their church’s worship team. Alix and Domz are together through all of life's ups and downs and love doing life together. Countless dinner dates, shared worship sets, boba runs and even a trip to NYC to see Broadway together have made Alix and Doms inseparable, and life long friends. Doms is smart, creative, honest, the most genuine person and an amazing friend!

Emma is one of Alix' best friend and classmates! Alix and Emma met at church but grew close while both earning a degree in music at UNM. From long nights studying, multiple choir concerts, many split chipotle bowls and a couple tearful breakdowns Emma was always there and Alix could not get through school or her wedding day without her.

The soon to be titled Mrs. Bela LUDWIG is one of Alix' very best friends and wedding planning partner in crime. Bela is having her own very special day at the beginning of May, marrying her fiancé Michael, and it has been such a blessing doing wedding planning together. Alix and Bela bonded during the crazy, non-stop, adventure filled summer of 2023 that will never be forgotten. It was also the summer they both met their future husbands, who also ended up being besties, roommates, and basically the same person. They all love doing life together. #DoubleDatersForever<3

Sidney is Alix' second sister! She married Andrew, Alix's little brother, last summer and we could not be happier!! Sidney is the perfect partner for Andrew, a great addition to the family and the sweetest sister in law. Alix was honored to stand by Sidney at her wedding and can't wait to have Sidney at the altar during her own wedding.
Bailey Rivera

The very nearly 3rd "Martinez sister". Bailey is Alix' cousin but may as well be her sister. Alix and Bailey spent their childhoods side-by-side as well as well as their awkward teen years and now on into adultood. Bailey also got married recently in the summer of 2023 to her Amazing husband Andres. Bailey is also a rockstar and recently became a whole entire DOCTOR, delivering babies and caring for her community everyday. Bailey is funny, kind, driven and also the best dog mom out there! Alix can't wait to spend this special day with her.
Curtis Martin

Curtis has been Brandon's best friend since kindergarten. That’s over a lifetime of laughs, adventures, and unforgettable memories. He’s the kind of friend everyone wishes they had; loyal, funny, and always there when you need him. Now, as my best man, I couldn’t be more grateful to have him by my side on one of the most important days of my life. Curtis isn’t just my best friend he’s family. I know this day wouldn’t be complete without him right there, cracking jokes and making sure everything goes just right. (Also he's single ladies!)

At 6'8", Mike is hard to miss, but it’s his creativity, loyalty, and incredible friendship that truly make him stand out. He was my roommate and remains one of my closest friends, and our shared love for photography and videography has been the foundation of so many great memories. Having Mike as one of my groomsmen means the world to me.

Bryan has been one of the greatest friends in my life. For the past seven years, he’s been a constant source of support, wisdom, and laughter. Some of my favorite memories are the late nights with him and Curtis staying up, talking about life, our dreams, and everything in between. Those conversations built a bond that’s stronger than friendship, it’s family. Bryan is someone I truly look up to. He’s been there during my lowest moments, always offering a steady hand and an open heart. His strength, kindness, and loyalty have made such an impact on my life, and I’m beyond grateful to have him by my side as a groomsman.

Anthony isn’t just my brother-in-law he’s family in every sense of the word. I’ve gotten to know him as not only a great guy but also someone I’m proud to call a friend. From the very beginning, he’s been welcoming, supportive, and always down for a good time. Having Anthony as a groomsman means a lot because family is everything, and I’m grateful to have him as part of mine. Whether it’s sharing laughs, good conversations, or future family gatherings, I know we’ll continue to make great memories together. Teo has been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember. We spent so much of our time together through middle school and high school whether we were goofing off, getting creative, or putting on a show. Our love for storytelling took us all the way to film school, and our days in musical theater created some of the best (and most hilarious) memories of my life. Teo was also one of the legendary Burque Bois a crew that’s been through it all together. He’s always been one of the most talented, genuine, and ride-or-die friends I’ve ever had. Having him by my side as a groomsman on my wedding day means the world.

Jason has always been the kind of friend who can turn any day around with his humor and positive energy. He’s goofy, lighthearted, and never fails to bring a smile to everyone around him. Some of my favorite memories are our legendary boba dates. Sitting for hours, sipping on our favorite drinks, and having those deep, real conversations about life. Beyond the laughs, Jason’s always been a genuinely good friend someone who listens, supports, and shows up when it matters most. Having him as a groomsman means a lot because he’s been there through so many important moments in my life.
