Question

Bus Transfer to the Villa

Answer

We are trying to have a shuttle bus take as many guests from the MXP airport to the villa. This will allow you to relax and not have to worry about taking 3 trains from Milan to Pisa. In order to make this bus transfer to the villa you must ensure your arrival is the morning of Sunday the 20th in the morning. Most guests flights arrive between 7am and 10am. If your arrival is too far out of this window we wont be able to guarantee a seat for you. We estimate a bus will cost everyone $60 one way. Getting home: The bus to MXP is 3.5 hours maybe 4. Please ensure your flight leaving Milan is not early in the AM otherwise you will be responsible getting to your flight. For those of you interested in taking the bus transfer Saturday the 26th to MXP airport, be prepared to leave the villa early in the morning as many people will have varying departure times in the afternoon. (later the better for your departure time) If you wish to be on this bus please let us know so I can mark down your names, and flight information.

Answer

This money will be for your room, breakfast each morning, and 3 dinners during your stay. (More is still to be added. This section will be updated)

Question

What day should I arrive?

Answer

Sunday July 20th anytime.

Question

When should I buy my ticket?

Answer

Use the google flight tracker, and keep an eye open for prices! We believe this fall/winter will be the best time to buy tickets. 2025 is the year of Jubilee so tourism will be higher than normal next year, it is imperative you do not wait till next spring to get your tickets.

Question

How should I get to the villa?

Answer

The answer will vary for each of you. Here are my suggestions: 1. Fly from Dallas to Pisa. You will likely fly to London or Spain, layover, and continue to Pisa. From the airport you will be required to get your own taxi to the Villa (20 min drive). 2. Fly nonstop Dallas to Rome. From there you can board their bullet train that takes you from Rome to Pisa in 2.5 hours. The route is along the coast. Prices in premium class is $70 per person and it comes with some snacks and a comfy chair. Fly into Rome early to explore the city for a day! Airbnb's are very cheap, but do your research, look at reviews prior to getting a place. Some don't have AC. 3. Fly into Milan or Florence and take the trains. From Milan to Pisa is ~4 hr train. From Florence to Pisa is ~1.5 hr train.
