A Love Story

In May of 2021, a simple Instagram story became the beginning of something extraordinary. Adaliz shared a post to her Instagram story about her faith and the church, and Brandon’s thoughtful comment sparked a conversation that never truly ended. What began as a few exchanged messages quickly blossomed into daily talks, each one weaving our hearts closer together. Instagram DMs grew into voice notes, voice notes into texts, texts into never missed 6:30 p.m. phone calls that became the highlight of their days, and eventually FaceTimes where distance no longer felt so far. Through it all, a friendship rooted in faith, laughter, and a deep love for Jesus. On November 14, 2021, Brandon asked Adaliz to be his girlfriend, and from that day forward, their love only grew stronger. A year later, on a rainy New Year’s Eve night at Azalea Park, on a dock overlooking the water, Brandon asked Adaliz to be his wife. It was the most beautiful “yes” of her life. Since then, their story has been filled with countless adventures and simple joys: Disney dates, lakeside walks, singing and dancing with each other to silly songs, cooking each other their favorite new dinner recipes, and creating memories in even the smallest of moments. More than anything, they've become each other’s best friend — the one they lean on, confide in, find comfort with, pray for, and choose every single day. Their love is anchored in Christ, and it is their greatest joy to begin this next chapter as husband and wife. Their prayer is that their marriage will forever be a reflection of the way Jesus loves His church — faithful, joyful, and everlasting.
