We matched on the dating app BLK early morning on Friday, July 3rd 2020. After chatting for a few hours we agreed to meet for lunch at Folk Art Restaurant. We had an amazing time talking and ended up making plans for the 4th & 5th as well. After that we proceeded to spend almost every day together since then.

Midway through our Housewarming Party Brandon gave Tamika a bouquet of a dozen roses and got down on one knee. After pausing for tears and cheers, Brandon asked " Tamika, will you marry me?" and through watery eyes and anxious shaking, Tamika exclaimed "ABSOLUTELY!". Brandon then removed a single rose from the bouquet which opened up to reveal -- THE PERFECT RING!

In late June, Brandon & Tamika made the decision to get married right away. Officiated by the mother of the groom, Mrs. Artra Cooper, the small intimate ceremony was held at the Cooper's home in Jonesboro. Witnessed by mother of the bride, Janice Taylor, and father of the groom, Hugh Cooper.
