For as much as we understand that you want to take photos during the ceremony, we ask that you please keep all electronics on standby until the ceremony is over. After that, all bets are off and you can feel free to take as many photos/videos as you like! Please share them with us if you do! We’d love to see our wedding from your eyes.
While we’re hoping for a mostly adult celebration, we understand that childcare isn’t always easy to arrange. If you aren’t able to find a sitter, your little ones are absolutely welcome to join us.
Our wedding will have a woodsy, romantic vibe, so we recommend semi-formal attire. Think dresses, dress shirts, suits, or slacks—but feel free to lean into florals, earthy tones, or something that feels good under the trees! Heels might be tricky on natural terrain, so consider comfortable shoes.
Weather permitting, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Though it will be August, we recommend bringing a light layer in case it gets chilly in the evening. You can never be too prepared!
We’ve got a backup plan! In case of rain, we’ll move things to a covered area nearby. We’ll keep everyone posted as the day gets closer.
Plenty! While there aren’t any high-end hotels within a 15-minute drive, there are plenty of AirBnB rentals and the like. You can also feel free to travel a little further out if you want that hotel vibe instead. Check our Travel page for some options. We will be updating this page from time to time.
Our venue is mostly outdoor and natural terrain. If you or someone in your party has mobility needs, please let us know ahead of time—we’ll do everything we can to accommodate.
Absolutely. They’re important members of our family, and we couldn’t imagine the day without them. Ouro (our very dapper ring bearer) and Rose (our lovely flower girl), will be making a special appearance during the ceremony.
If they’re open to it, go for it—just wait until after the ceremony! Ouro and Rose will be working hard during their big moment, but they’ll be ready for pets and belly rubs once the formalities are over.
As much as we adore dogs (clearly—we’ve got two in the wedding party), we kindly ask that only our pups attend the big day—selfish, we know. We hope you understand, and we promise they’ll be soaking up enough attention for everyone’s pets.
We are still working on the timeline, but once that is solidified, we will update this answer!
