“Wow, hard to believe this little bundle we took home from the hospital has grown into the super young man he is today. It seems like only yesterday we were traveling to soccer matches, baseball and basketball games, and then I turned around and he was taller than me! He went from being my son to a true friend. Watching Chad become independent, mature and finding such a perfect partner in Lillian is one of the greatest blessings a father could hope for. I could not be happier than I am for him to have found such a great partner to spend his life with!”

“When I was younger I could never escape Chad. Through coaches and teachers everyone always instantly knew me as "little Chad" and occasionally even callled me by his name. While I was annoyed at first, as I grew older I quickly realized how good this was. He had set a good bar for me to always try and pass. As younger siblings we always competed and fought but today that's only brought us closer. As I look back on those days growing up I don't see my annoying older brother but my #1 competitor, my person to always beat, and my absolute best friend. Now I am absolutely pumped to be standing next to my brother(x2) on his special day! While he can still be slightly annoying I am so glad that Lillian is stepping up to deal with that so I don't have to now!”

“Chad and I met in 2014 when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore. But in reality Chad and I didn’t really meet until 2016 when I was president of our fraternity and he was Vice President. In that one year he went from a stranger to one of my closest friends. Chad and I have been through some amazing and horrible times together and I couldn’t be happier to be standing by his side on the day he marries the love of his life.”

”After being Toby’s go-to undergrad minion, helping run Lillian’s SGA campaigns, and taking down the Christmas tree for Michelle, I think I was the only guy without the last name Roth that Chad needed to impress. Whether it was Montgomery Debutante Ball rehearsals, sharing a single pull-out couch, or ending a late night at the casino, Chad and I have been on the same wavelength since Day 1 and able to communicate with just a quick, subtle glance; a useful quality when thrown into the middle of a passionate Roth family discussion."

We got closer during our time serving on Exec together, which involved many interesting situations and a few beverages to help us get through those interesting times. We enjoyed many game days together and long nights out on the strip. And, of course, those nice dinners at River. It’s been a pleasure to be great friends with Mr. Brand, and I look forward to more memories made together!"

"We officially met right before pledgeship at a rush party at the house. We talked about basketball, Bama football, and fraternity life at UA. Chad explained to me how big of a difference the house had made on him and how he hoped that I’d get a similar experience. I did, and we’ve been buddies ever since."

“Lillian and I were in Chi O together in college, but we didn’t officially become friends until where else but a Tutwiler pregame. It was before a ‘darty’ and Lillian bravely put the invite to come to her room in our whole pledge class GroupMe, and I bravely went. We became fast friends over gossip, and from there our friendship became something real and true. Little did I know, becoming friends with Lillian certainly was a resume builder— whether it was planning pref, helping with SGA campaigns or making LillzBeadz (totally put on my resume I was the marketing director, hope you’re cool with that.) she certainly kept me involved. When I met Chad, Lillian said “you’re going to be obsessed” — and she’s wasn’t wrong. I couldn’t think of anyone more wonderful for her than than Chad!”
