Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will be walking down the aisle with us on our special day! Everyone in the wedding party has such vibrant and unique personalities, we didn't want to miss the opportunity for you all to hear from them yourselves -- read what they have to say below!

Annabel Roth

Maid of Honor

"Through thick and thin, I have been Lillian’s side kick. At the Starbucks drive-thru, LillzBeadz factory, Alabama and UA politics, and Chi Omega events -- I always wanted to do what Lillian did. I am relieved my time to keep Lillian in line is over as Chad will now take the reins."

Madeline Roth

Maid of Honor

"Growing up, Lillian was always a support system, role model, and someone that always kept me humble! When I decided to go to college 80 miles away from her, I was afraid I was going to lose that. Little did I know, our time apart in college has made us closer and cherish our time together even more! I can always count on Lillian to inspire me, push me, and make me the best version of myself. I can always count on Chad to encourage me, laugh with me, and visit Starkville for our favorite watering holes and restaurants! Cheers, Hail State, and Roll Tide to the Brands!"

Ann Kay Alexander

Bridesmaid

"Lillian and I met when we both pledged Chi O, and she become one of my greatest encouragers and role models! We have been through it all together and I am so much better because of the friend Lillian has been to me. I am so excited to celebrate with Lill and Chad as they take on this new chapter!"

Ashleigh Christopher

Bridesmaid

"Chi O brought Lillz into my life, and we’ve lived together for the past two years. We became best friends based on our mutual ability to always keep it real. She is the definition of a #girlboss and I will always be one of her biggest fans!"

Caroline Franklin

Bridesmaid

"Lillian and I grew up in Montgomery together as lifelong friends. Our friendship really budded when we enrolled in every political or government course offered at MA, spending every other class period at the infamous Zelda Road Starbucks, slightly studying and mostly gossiping (over an iced Toffee Nut and Soy, of course)! I like to think I am the fourth Roth child."

Jordan Culton

Bridesmaid

"Lillz and I were brought together when we learned that our dads were fraternity brothers on bid day in the chi O lunch line. Since this moment I have considered myself "an adopted Roth". I truly consider Lillian not only a best friend but also a sister. I cant wait to see what all God has in store for this amazing couple!"

Katter Longshore

Bridesmaid

"Lill has happily had to deal with me since kindergarten. Although we’ve always been friends, we became best friends in high school over gossip and Starbucks toffee nut and soy iced coffee. At Alabama, we pledged Chi O together and tackled all the highs and lows of college by each other’s side."

Lacey Cencula

Bridesmaid

"Lillian and I met through a thing called SGA, which she slightly dabbled in throughout college. We became fast friends once we realized we were legit clones and shared telepathic thoughts."

Mary Jane Young

Bridesmaid

"Where do I even begin? My first memory of Lillian was standing next to her in line during Rush -- we talked for a minute and realized we had a few things in common. As we became fast friends freshmen year, we realized we actually had A LOT in common. Ever since then, we have stuck close together whether it was Chi O executive board, date parties, or sushi dinners. And now, I can’t wait to be by her side on her wedding day as she marries her best friend."

Sara Oswalt

Bridesmaid

"Lillian and I were fast friends once we pledged Chi O together. Over the years, we became each other’s biggest supporters through it all. College, friendship and life would not be the same without each other, and I'm so happy we are still inseparable 5 years later."

Sarah Jane Jones

Bridesmaid

"As a new student at the University of Alabama, I was thrilled to become friends with Lillian in the first year of our MBA program. Everyone knew her and she knew everything about the University of Alabama! She took me under her wing, and showed me the best of times in Tuscaloosa. There is never a dull moment with Lillian- between sprints to Starbucks before class, Heat Pizza, themed parties, and, of course, Chad! So excited to be part of their special day!"

Savannah McMachen

Bridesmaid

"At the ripe old age of five, I was so lucky to become Lillian’s aunt. We’ve gone from playing dress up together to actually dressing up in each other’s weddings! Yes, I am her wise aunt and she is my beloved niece, but we’re even more - friends and sisters!"

Charles Brand, II

Best Man

“Wow, hard to believe this little bundle we took home from the hospital has grown into the super young man he is today. It seems like only yesterday we were traveling to soccer matches, baseball and basketball games, and then I turned around and he was taller than me! He went from being my son to a true friend. Watching Chad become independent, mature and finding such a perfect partner in Lillian is one of the greatest blessings a father could hope for. I could not be happier than I am for him to have found such a great partner to spend his life with!”

Matthew Brand

Best Man

“When I was younger I could never escape Chad. Through coaches and teachers everyone always instantly knew me as "little Chad" and occasionally even callled me by his name. While I was annoyed at first, as I grew older I quickly realized how good this was. He had set a good bar for me to always try and pass. As younger siblings we always competed and fought but today that's only brought us closer. As I look back on those days growing up I don't see my annoying older brother but my #1 competitor, my person to always beat, and my absolute best friend. Now I am absolutely pumped to be standing next to my brother(x2) on his special day! While he can still be slightly annoying I am so glad that Lillian is stepping up to deal with that so I don't have to now!”

Adam Brown

Groomsman

“Chad and I met in 2014 when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore. But in reality Chad and I didn’t really meet until 2016 when I was president of our fraternity and he was Vice President. In that one year he went from a stranger to one of my closest friends. Chad and I have been through some amazing and horrible times together and I couldn’t be happier to be standing by his side on the day he marries the love of his life.”

Chandler Stokes

Groomsman

“Chad and I became friends in the 5th Grade and have been the best of friends since. From playing sports together all through out high school to helping guide each other through the ups and down of college, Chad and I have been inseparable ever since. I am so excited and honored to be able to stand next to him as he marries the love of his life.”

Charles Spencer

Groomsman

"I met Chad shortly before his freshman year at Alabama when I was living in the Delt house for the summer. Once pledgeship rolled around, I picked him as my little brother, and now 5 years later he's one of my closest friends, a frequent pain in the rear end (censored) and someone I can talk to about anything. I'm honored to be a part of his wedding, and cant wait to see this brilliant couple take the world by storm."

Daniel Dziadon

Groomsman

”After being Toby’s go-to undergrad minion, helping run Lillian’s SGA campaigns, and taking down the Christmas tree for Michelle, I think I was the only guy without the last name Roth that Chad needed to impress. Whether it was Montgomery Debutante Ball rehearsals, sharing a single pull-out couch, or ending a late night at the casino, Chad and I have been on the same wavelength since Day 1 and able to communicate with just a quick, subtle glance; a useful quality when thrown into the middle of a passionate Roth family discussion."

Hunter Card

Groomsman

“Four score and seven years ago (realistically it was probably near 2007-2008), I met Charles A. Brand the III thru fellow groomsman Chandler Stokes in what became known as The Three Amigos.”

James Kolenda

Groomsman

"I had the pleasure to meet young Chad Brand during pledgeship, as we took the journey together and made some fond memories. We got closer during our time serving on Exec together, which involved many interesting situations and a few beverages to help us get through those interesting times. We enjoyed many game days together and long nights out on the strip. And, of course, those nice dinners at River. It’s been a pleasure to be great friends with Mr. Brand, and I look forward to more memories made together!"

Louis Duran

Groomsman

"I met Chad when he was a student worker with the Crimson Tide football team. We quickly went from coworkers to friends and have stayed in touch through multiple job and geographic changes."

Nick Rockhill

Groomsman

“So I met him when he was about 6-7 years old. His dad took me in as a little brother as a Sunday school teacher. For whatever reason Chad looked up to me. There were highs and lows but I couldn’t be prouder of the man and accomplishments of this once upon a time little kid.”

Peyton Hazelrig

Groomsman

"We officially met right before pledgeship at a rush party at the house. We talked about basketball, Bama football, and fraternity life at UA. Chad explained to me how big of a difference the house had made on him and how he hoped that I’d get a similar experience. I did, and we’ve been buddies ever since."

Ryan Matthews

Groomsman

"Chad was one of the first people I met at the Delt house when I joined in the fall of 2016. It was apparent early on that the two of us had a lot in common and we became fast friends. Over the next few years, from the long nights at Harry’s to the exec dinners at River, we formed a friendship that will last a lifetime."

Landon Gray

Usher

"The Brands have been some of our closest family friends since his brother Matthew and I met in Kindergarten.  Chad has always been someone I look up to, and someone I know I can count on for advice. I’ve sat through numerous Alabama football games with him, spent many hours on airplanes and in other countries with him, and have been there along the way to break up the inevitable fights between he and Matt. It’s been a privilege to witness Chad transition into an adult, and I’m honored to be part of his and Lillian’s big day."

Tristan Watson

Usher

"From the Kids' Den and ratting around the Gump at TMA parties, to speeding around ATL to ask firemen to get a stuck ring off her finger ~ Lillian and I have done it all. While I wish I would have started LillzBeadz and made that coin, I’m always so proud of all of Lillian’s accomplishments and how great of a friend she is to me. I’m happy to be attending Lillian’s wedding for a small fee of $100,000 #ad #sponsored"

Mary Helen Hardy

Scripture Reader

“Lillian and I were in Chi O together in college, but we didn’t officially become friends until where else but a Tutwiler pregame. It was before a ‘darty’ and Lillian bravely put the invite to come to her room in our whole pledge class GroupMe, and I bravely went. We became fast friends over gossip, and from there our friendship became something real and true. Little did I know, becoming friends with Lillian certainly was a resume builder— whether it was planning pref, helping with SGA campaigns or making LillzBeadz (totally put on my resume I was the marketing director, hope you’re cool with that.) she certainly kept me involved. When I met Chad, Lillian said “you’re going to be obsessed” — and she’s wasn’t wrong. I couldn’t think of anyone more wonderful for her than than Chad!”

"I have known Lillian for close to twenty years! We met at the First United Methodist Church when I was four and she was five, and we spent many a fun hour in Bible School and youth group. Our parents also belonged to the same Sunday School class at the church, and now our dads work together. Lillian and I attended the same high school, and then college! I am also happy to call Lillian a sister in Chi Omega. I am honored to be a part of such an exciting time in Lillian and Chad’s lives."

Catherine Collins

Harpist

"I remember exactly where I was sitting my freshman year of college when someone showed me Lillian on Facebook... she was THE Montgomery girl we had to have in Chi O. After snatching her up in rush the next year, Lillian has always been one of my favorites to “rat around” with during (and after) college. She and I were rush chairs together her junior year and my senior year, and now, we get to advise Chi O like we never left!!"
