FAQs

Question

Where in the world are we?

Answer

Cabo San Lucas is located at the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico, in the state of Baja California Sur. It sits exactly where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez!

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

YES! If you are planning to join us in Cabo, you must have a passport to travel to Mexico. Please do so as soon as possible, as it can take a while to receive. Also, double check if yours is up-to-date!

Question

Is there a dress code for the Cabo wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are going with summer wedding formal. Think polished, dressy, elevated summer wedding vibes. Classy short or long dresses for women (no sundresses please). Summer wedding suits for men (no shorts or jeans please). Any questions or inspiration photos can be sent directly to the bride.

Question

Do I have to stay at Garza Blanca?

Answer

YES! It is VERY IMPORTANT that all guests stay at the Garza Blanca. All wedding events will take place at this resort. This will save you the hassle of having to line up transportation to and from the resort and extra resort fees!

Question

What will the weather in Cabo be like in July?

Answer

Expect 85-90 degree highs during the day and overnight lows of 77-80 degrees. However, evenings do cool down quite a bit, packing a light jacket/pashmina would be wise. All wedding events will take place outdoors!

Question

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you're traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself. Physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

Question

Will there be a wedding reception in Nebraska?

Answer

Yes! We completely understand that traveling is an investment and a commitment so we are having our reception at the Marriott Downtown Capitol District in Omaha, on September 26, 2026. We hope this can accommodate more of our family and friends, and to make sure everyone has a chance to celebrate with us!
