We’re tying the knot!

We first started talking on a dating app on a Tuesday morning. We talked the entire day! I was supposed to be going on a date with another guy I had been talking to, and Mauricio insisted that I go on a date with him that night instead 😂❤️ We’ve been inseparable ever since 🥰

We took a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The last night of our trip, we had a private dinner on the beach. He had made a list of his 7 favorite movies (which we had talked about vaguely about a month prior). For each movie, there was a romantic quote. He cried after reading me the first one ❤️ This continued throughout dinner. We started to walk back to our room while discussing the last movie, which turned out to be Wedding Crashers 😂 He blindfolded me and played me a quote from the movie: “True love is the soul’s recognition of its counterpoint in another.” 🥰 He then handed me a champagne flute of sprite 😂 I had been sick the whole week. He told me not to drink it too fast - I knew then that he had put the ring in the glass 🤣 After I finished drinking it, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him 🥰🥰🥰 He paid the cleaning lady to decorate the room 😂🤣 She actually did a great job!
