We are Eloping!

Due to Brandi being a nurse who constantly travels and Laura a Soldier who is frequently away for weeks at a time for training, the start of their relationship was pretty slow. They met online, and shortly after that Laura left for DC for a month of training. This left them to get to know each other from a distance, and it truly has worked out for the best. They finally met on July 1st (a monday) in Mesa. They were supposed to start their date at REI (how fitting), but Brandi's car was having trouble and Laura thought she was bailing on the date at the last minute. Obviously she didn't and they met up at Mykes pizza as planned... Only to find out Mykes is closed on Mondays. Pivot to Goat and Ram for dinner, during which the conversations of girrafs and many other topics flowed naturally. Dessert was to be next on the agenda Novel Ice Cream, which is just down the road from the restaurants, was... ALSO CLOSED! Pivot to Bruster's, for a sweet treat to end the perfectly imperfect date where everything went wrong but was completely right. They quickly discovered they shared many of the same values and hobbies and ended up spending as much time as they could together. They started traveling together to national parks, hot airbaloon festivals, and local events. It was pretty clear after a short while that they were the ones for each other. They also learned they had crossed paths multiple times before they ever met and didn't even realize it. They have learned so much about each other, what the other needs, wants, and truly desires in life and are lucky to say they encourage and support each other in all aspects of life. "I have never personally met anyone who made my life so much better, who wants me to achieve my goals, and for all my dreams to come true and who will continue to work on them daily with me to make sure they come true" -Brandi. "She encourages me and supports even my craziest ideas (like going back to school at 37!) and she's always right there with me cheering me on especially when I'm doubting myself. I'm incredibly lucky for her" -Laura We are so excited to elope and start this journey together!
