Our love story began with a simple Facebook message in January 2025. What started as a quick hello soon turned into hours of daily phone calls, where we shared stories, asked questions, and slowly got to know each other on a deeper level. We met in person in March 2025 for our first date at Mr. Waffle, followed by putt putt at the Big E. Over the next few months, we spent more time together, and our friendship naturally grew into something more. Along the way, we realized we’re both a little weird—but in the best way—and that it fits perfectly. That summer, we took our first trip together to Mount Pleasant. We took a trip to immediate care for a health concern, laughed by the pool, people-watched, captured our first beach photos, and even stopped to visit Bubba the bird. Although it didn’t go as planned, it quickly became one of our favorite memories—filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and was the start of many adventures to come. Built on a strong foundation of friendship, we chose to take our time and let our relationship grow naturally. Along the way, we’ve found joy in everyday moments— whether it’s quiet nights at home, running errands, or spontaneous adventures—and created traditions that are uniquely ours. Faith has played a significant role in our journey. We’ve leaned on God for guidance, trusting His timing in bringing us together and shaping the life we are building side by side. In February 2026, Josh thoughtfully planned a proposal at our favorite place—the beach—with the help of my mom, sister, and Brance. While we were on a long walk along the shore, they carefully set everything into place. When we returned, I was met with the most beautiful and intentional moment—music playing, roses arranged, and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting. Although it happened on Valentine’s Day—something I had never imagined—it was absolutely perfect because it was us, filled with love, meaning, and so much thought. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other.
