FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 1st

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Short answer, no. This will be a small and intimate wedding. Our venue has set a limit on the number of attendees allowed and we have invited the maximum number of guests. Those specifically named on the envelope will be the only guests we are asking to attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only if named on the envelope.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is sufficient parking at the location.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We will be asking our guests to join us at The Brass Rail, in O’Fallon, at 2:30 pm. We have a small, private room reserved for a short time. You're welcome to order from their food or drink menu, at your own expense or just come to mingle and share some time with us. THIS IS NOT A RECEPTION! Because the wedding venue only allows for enough time for the ceremony and professional photos of the couple, we are inviting you to the restaurant so that we may have the opportunity to socialize and take personal photos with you. Also, I don't know about Josh, but I'm going to be starving by that time.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?

Answer

Please contact Brandi with any questions you may have. Call or text at 636-221-0460.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy or Dressy Casual

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that no phones or cameras be present at the ceremony. We prefer an unplugged ceremony and ask that you honor our wishes. We have a professional photographer taking care of that and all of those photos will be available to you after the wedding. We want you to be present for those short moments, without distractions, and allow us the pleasure of your presence. There will be plenty of time for personal photos to be taken once we reach the restaurant.

Question

What time will the ceremony actually start?

Answer

We ask that everyone be at the venue at 1pm. You will be allowed inside at 1 and asked to promptly seat. The ceremony will begin by 1:10pm.
