We are getting married... FINALLY!

While away at school I had received a text from Jacob letting me know that he had dinner picked out for the night. He also offered to carve pumpkins with me because he “watched a video of someone carving pumpkins with power tools.” I knew he was up to something, but what he was up to I was unsure of. I was spoiled with our favorite sushi spot and pumpkin carving in one night, how could it get any better?! I had left the house to go let a dog I was watching out and that was Jacobs time to shine. I received a text while gone to turn off our pumpkins when I came home. What I came home to was all the porch lights turned off, our pumpkins lit up bright and an additional pumpkin with a question mark and the ring box in front of it. As I walked up to the pumpkins and opened the ring box Jacob snuck up behind me. Cue the water works! The box had the sweet little message I’ve waited forever for “Will you marry me?” Of course I said yes!
