LOVE

Brandi and Andrew’s journey began with a “click” on Hinge. They spent the first two months talking about everything from hobbies to what their first date should be. Soon, those chats deepened as they shared family stories, life goals, and the joys (and chaos!) of parenting. Andrew spoke proudly of his two sons—Daniel, a compassionate helper with a big heart who loves to play hockey, and Carter, a charismatic boy full of life and giggles that has soccer in his soul. Brandi shared stories of her daughter Makenzie, known for her dedication, drive, and giving heart, while being a great big sister to all the boys. Also, her witty, wise-beyond-his-years, sarcastic son, Gavin who loves to write short stories and has a passion for comedy. Brandi had to cancel their first two planned dates—one being dinner and tickets to a Red Wings game. After a week of silence, Andrew was ready to move on. That very day, much to his surprise and delight, Brandi reached out and explained that her son Gavin had hit a medical rough patch, and she needed to focus on him and his health. Andrew, being the son of two doctors and a father himself, understood the importance of putting Gavin’s health first. That same day, they scheduled their first real date: December 15th, 2022, at a vintage, underground speakeasy. The atmosphere and vibe were perfect, and their connection was so undeniable that even strangers assumed they were celebrating an anniversary. Their bond only grew from there. On March 26th, 2024, at sunset under a gazebo at Cypress Grove, surrounded by weeping willows and water, Andrew got down on one knee. Brandi responded with a joyful, tearful “yes.” Now, we invite you to celebrate the next chapter in their love story as they say “I do”.
