When I first met Lauren, she made it clear that she didn’t ever like girls that Branden brought over, and so she probably wouldn’t like me either. As time went by, we got to know each other really well. We spent time going to grandma’s pool in the summertime and driving up to Minnesota to see family together. When we go on family vacations, sometimes I wonder if I’m going as Lauren’s friend, or Branden’s girl! Lauren and I have built a great friendship, and I am so lucky to be able to call her my sister.
Cierra Brown

I have known Cierra since high school through sports. We were usually pretty mean to each other between pinching or shoving each other on the basketball court, but we would always shake hands and be kind after the game! It wasn’t until I started working at Texas Roadhouse where we started to become the best of friends. I talked Cierra into moving up to Omaha into the same apartment complex as me. We worked together in the evenings, and sometimes our boss would see us walking in together and yell BFFFFFFFFFFFFFF because we were inseparable. We would never ask, always assume we were going out after work. We have made some amazing memories together that we will NEVER forget. I love her to the moon and can’t imagine a life without her in it.
Kaylee Santisteban

My freshman year of college, I got paired to room with Kaylee at random. Right away we clicked and became best friends (hmpfff!) We loved to do our hair and makeup together, drink booze (including the memory of me taking my first shot) watch vampire diaries, and eat pizza rolls or quesadillas! We have had our ups and downs (because what sisters don’t). At the end of the day, Kaylee is always there for me no matter what. She has been there through some of my toughest days and some of the (soon to be) best days of my life! I cherish our friendship so much and I am so glad that 5E brought us together. 🤍
Carmen Herzberg

I have known Carmen as long as I can remember, but we really became best friends in our high school years. When everyone else was out getting into trouble, you would always find us having slumber parties with Mountain Dew and junk food at our parents house watching movies and playing rock band or ping pong. We had lots of weekends on the road together playing club volleyball. When we graduated high school and went to separate colleges, we got busy with our own lives, but have always stayed in touch. Whenever we get together no matter how much time goes by, we catch up like we saw each other yesterday. Carmen has always been another sister to me. We have been there for each other, and all the big or small memories we have made along the way are moments I will remember for a lifetime!
Alix Kammerer
Maid of Honor
Alix is my older sister and we are about as opposite as you can come. Alix and I shared a room growing up, and we would sit up and talk for HOURS after our bedtime. When our mom found out, she put a baby monitor in our room and caught us, busting our nightly slumber parties! Alix is the best big sister anyone could ask for. Even though she is quiet, she has the biggest heart I have ever seen. She would always let me ride with her to school when she was 16, take me to get ice cream AND buy it for me too! She made visits to see me when I was in college, and still is close to my heart today. I can’t get through the biggest day of my life without her by my side wiping the tears, positioning my hair, holding my dress, and making more memories with me.
