What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, no jeans/t-shirts please! The wedding will be indoors with the beach as the backdrop, there will be a period where the large doors are open for the pictures in the ceremony.

Will there be food?

Of course! There will be a buffet with a variety of options to suit most dietary needs.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a cash bar. We will be providing drink tickets to redeem for drinks of your choice and once used, additional drinks will be available on a cash basis.

Where should we stay?

Answer

The wedding will be held at Black Drum nextdoor to the Embassy Suites on the Kingston Resorts property. There are multiple accommodations available ranging from single bed hotel rooms at the Hilton to multiple room suites and a shuttle will take you around the property if you are unable to walk. For the best rates and to ensure availability, please book as soon as possible. There is not a room block. There are also other nearby hotels as well but you will need your own transportation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adult-focused event, with exceptions only for children specifically included in invitations. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at both the hotels on-property and at Black Drum for guests attending but staying elsewhere. There is a shuttle within the Kingston Resorts property for guests. There is (limited) EV charging available at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and there is an (open to all with adapter) Tesla Supercharger 10 min / 4 miles away at Barefoot Landing.
