We met April 2022 as coworkers, and started off as friends. We would go as a group to play darts and hangout constantly (Sam always lost). Eventually, Sam got the nerve to finally ask me out and we’ve been inseparable since. In April 2023 we went on our first long vacation together (a cruise) and since then we have talked about getting married on one. We moved into our first place together in October 2023 and have slowly been creating a home. On Christmas Day 2023, Sam asked my dad if he could marry me and after getting his blessing, he didn’t wait long to propose! On December 28th, 2023, Sam proposed in our apartment (after I ruined his whole cute plan), and it was the easiest yes.
