Matron of Honor
Standing by my side will be the person who has been there since the start. There is a special bond between sisters. As my older sister, Ashley is the one who introduced me to the world of music and so much more. Through the years we've shared awkward photos and a love for the moon as twig and little twig- because we aren’t big enough to be branches.
Best Man
The Bestman and I go way back. Like, to my birth. He is an avid Braves fan, history buff, music enthusiast, founder of the John Wayne fan club (unofficially), and can pull off a lei like nobody else. Most importantly, he's spent 22 years preparing me to be a family man through his love and self sacrifice for my mom and me. It's an honor to have him stand next to me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Haley Grace lived down the hall for two years of dorm life. She was definitely the most cheerful, positive girl on the hall- always greeting me in the mornings until she found out that I was not a morning person. We have shared many life talks while sitting in her car after a few hours at small group. Any time spent with her is so joyful and I am so glad she will be standing by my side on this day.
Groomsman
John and I have wandered through college together since freshman orientation. We've spent four years making fun of each other and competing endlessly at board games. He's an umpire/referee, skilled golfer, fisherman, and future state champion coach. He's also a Duke fan. And I still chose him to be a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
All the way from Mississippi, Emma and I somehow ended up sharing a wall in side by side dorm rooms in college. Throughout college Emma has shown her love for the Lord outpouring into others. She also has some sweet dance moves, but they mostly only come out late at night. We have shared many classes, trips to the snack shop for cheese sticks and Pepsi, and Jesus music. You should seriously get to know this woman of God because He is doing big things through her.
Groomsman
David loves politics, board games, jokes, and good old American freedom. By the time of our wedding, he will be an experienced husband; he'll be spending his third week anniversary of marriage as my groomsman. If you get a chance, be sure to snag a picture with David, because he's destined for D.C. one of these days.
Bridesmaid
The original roomie. Cameran and Sarah lived together throughout their college years, sharing laughs, late night talks, and rides on the struggle bus. I remember the night that we both realized we had found the men we were going to marry. What a sweet time. By the time of our wedding, Cam will be an experienced wife, having been a Turner for 8 months.
Groomsman
Possibly the most interesting man in the wedding party. Charlton knows all things music, builds jeeps, rides jet skiis, snowboards, and is a state championship runner. If your iPhone breaks at the wedding, he knows how to fix that too.
Bridesmaid
Hannah Ray is the most exaggerated person in the wedding party- in the best way. Her wit is unmatched and any story is best told by her. You will be guaranteed many laughs. She has always been there to help me process and push me to think deeper. She also gets me and my love for obscure music artists. So glad that the Lord saw fit to put her in the room next to mine freshman year of college (she and Emma were roommates).
Groomsman
This guy loves sports and making people laugh. He's always the life of the party, and has the unique ability to unite any group he's with. Ryan has a big personality, but an even bigger heart. We've been friends since our freshman year of college. Be sure to talk to this guy before the wedding festivities are over. You'll be glad you did.
Bridesmaid
This woman will be famous one day because she is such an amazing musician. I got the opportunity to play and sing with Ashlee for 2 summers at camp all over North Carolina. What a joy it is to serve the Lord alongside someone like this. Her heart for others is admirable and she has a hilarious sense of humor.
Groomsman
This man is so full of life and joy you'll be invigorated just by looking at him. He's perfectly happy alone in the woods or in a coffee shop with a good book surrounded by hipsters. Wherever he is, Frank points people to Jesus. Since high school, he's consistently challenged me to seek Jesus and grow deeper in Christ. I'm pumped to have him as a groomsman.
