We're not shy about it, we met online! In November of 2015, Adrienne received a message from a guy that peaked her interest. He introduced himself as a NY Rangers and Jets fan, Adrienne's favorite teams. The message said something along the lines of, "Hey, I'm a Rangers and Jets fan, we should talk." After a few messages, they exchanged phone numbers. They spent hours every night talking on the phone and Skype. After a month, they finally met in person for their first date at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Ranger game. Something casual, comfortable and halfway between both of them. The rest is history. On February 12, 2016, Nick asked Adrienne to be his girlfriend. They were inseparable. Nick would surprise Adrienne at her house on nights she thought she wasn't seeing him. They spent majority of their time together whether it was out to eat, at each others houses or going on adventures. They basically lived at each others houses. Over the years they've spent their time binge watching shows (more like Adrienne binging, and Nick trying to fill in the gaps), traveling, going to concerts, sports games, NASCAR and more! In July of 2020, during the pandemic, they decided it was time to move in together. They found a great apartment in Watchung. In December of 2020, Nick brought home a very tiny yet HUGE surprise. That's when Gunther came into their lives. Nick surprised Adrienne with a puppy! After five and a half years, Nick proposed at Adrienne's 28th birthday dinner. He planned a dinner with Adrienne's family for her birthday at Dora's in Clinton. Little did Adrienne know that Nick's family was also invited and hiding from view as they were taking pictures by the water near the Red Mill Museum. After pictures, Nick grabbed Adrienne's hand, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She was so happy and emotional, she forgot to put the ring on her finger. We are so thankful for our family and friends and we can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
