Hey, that's our venue! You have a free ticket to the Virginia Living Museum, which has exhibits of live critters native to Virginia. It is like an aquarium, but cooler.
The Nolan Trail is a short drive from our venue, and it is a beautiful 5-mile-long nature trail (mostly flat), featuring the great "Lion's Bridge" (which is accessible by car if preferred).
Yorktown Beach offers a wide range of attractions. It has historical sites from the Revolutionary War, sandy beaches, cute shops, and more.
City Center has a few shops, breweries, and restaurants. It is known best for the large fountain at its center.
Fort Monroe is hard to explain, but it is well worth a visit. It is an old military fort surrounded by a moat, and surrounded again by the sea. Now open to the public, the fort itself is a historical landmark. Outside the fort (on busy port days) huge cargo ships, jets, and even submarines pass along.
A small walkable strip near Fort Monroe. Many local businesses and restaurants, cute and artsy.
