In the chaotic time of the pandemic, with hand sanitizers replacing perfume and face masks becoming the new fashion accessory, two brave souls decided to begin their dating journey. With restaurants, bars, and gyms closed, Brad and Alex both turned to online dating apps. In the vast sea of swiping left and right, the invisible thread of destiny paired Brad and Alex together. Despite Brad being the obvious more extroverted one, Alex began the first conversation. After weeks of talking, Alex decided to bravely ask Brad on a date. Their first date started as a stroll through the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and ended with drinking IPAs downtown. From one date to the next, Brad eventually planned a getaway to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands to bring in the New Year. Their first vacation brought a scrapbook full of memories and a heart full of love. Fast forward two and a half years later, Brad surprised Alex with a vacation to Monterey, California. After biking the streets of San Francisco, driving the coast in Big Sur, and walking along the beach, a new chapter was about to begin. On their last day, Brad convinced Alex to go on an evening hike to watch the sunset on an extremely cloudy day. After ten minutes of just staring into the abyss atop of a mountain, Alex became very confused about what they were doing up there.
