Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Think full length or tea length gowns and dark suits or tuxedos. Please no whites or creams for dresses, jeans, or khakis.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer & videographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like.

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoors.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones - we really do. However, due to many factors including space, we respectfully request NO children. This is an ADULT ONLY affair. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with your significant other or to enjoy a night out to yourself. We are happy to provide information on trusted babysitters in the area should you need to make arrangements.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

At our wedding, there will be an open bar - please bring cash to tip your bartenders! At our welcome event, there will be a cash bar.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Basilica Hudson between 3:30-4:15pm to allow ample time for parking, having a drink, and getting seated before the procession begins at 4:30pmET.

Question

Is there a parking lot at the ceremony location?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking for people who choose to drive instead of using the shuttle service provided.

Question

Will there be options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Of course! The bride used to be gluten free so she knows how hard it can be to find things to eat. Everyone will be accommodated and full :)
