The day we met, a warm September Saturday, was one of the most special days of our lives, a day that we didn’t know would be changing us both for the better. We had started talking over Bumble and decided to go on our first date at a local farmer’s market. Brandon remembers being nervous as he got ready for the date, thinking, "She seems so cool, I hope that I don't mess this up". Magdalena also remembers being nervous, especially when she first saw him and thought, "Oh no, he's even more handsome than his profile picture!" However, we hit it off right away. Brandon: She radiated warmth, kindness, and determination, all wrapped up in a pretty pink shirt and matching headband. As we talked over lunch, I learned about her passion for helping people, especially through psychology, her favorite foods, and novels. She was a fascinating woman to get to know, and the more I talked with her, the more I knew that she was someone truly special. Dating Maggie has been the best thing that's ever happened to me! She's gotten me to try so many new things that I never thought I'd like, like ice skating, taking more active roles in our communities, going to off-the-wall museums and improv shows, and exploring the city. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. She makes things fun, wants to make a difference, and gives me hope for a better tomorrow. What more could you ask for in a life partner? Magdalena: Even from our first few dates, I realized what a wonderful and rare man Brandon is, and how blessed I am that we found each other. He's both creative and hardworking, and a great listener with an open mind. He cares about the people in his life and lives out that care by showing up for them. He has high principles and works to actually live up to them. He's also just great to spend time with, whether it's an adventure or a relaxed afternoon watching TV and trying new recipes. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else, and I’m so grateful that it’s Brandon! He makes every day worth it as both a loving partner and a best friend. We're both so glad that you are here to celebrate the start of our new life together!
