We first met in high school at 15 years old, and our first real conversation started over something unexpected. We were both allergic to peanuts. It’s a funny detail now, but it ended up being the beginning of everything. Before long, we realized we had a lot more in common than that. From Spanish Club, where one of us definitely thought the other’s last name was Robertson instead of Robinson, to cheering each other on at soccer games and musicals, we spent those early years becoming best friends. Our “first date” happened at a local 315 staple, Pepis. We were technically with a group of friends, but it still felt like the start of something special. Then college took us in different directions, and we learned how to make long distance work through late night phone calls, weekend visits, and lots of miles on the road. Years later, we got engaged at Cumming Nature Center surrounded by one of our favorite places to be: outside. Hiking trails, being on the water, and finding new places together have always felt like us. From high school sweethearts to adventure partners, we’re so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
