Bring a chair and a sandwich! Unfortunately, to ensure everything runs smoothly with our vendors and venue, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible!
The dress code for our wedding is western formal. Bright spring colors are encouraged! Please no white, as we are saving that color for the bride. The ceremony will be outdoors. Ladies, please take this into account when choosing your footwear.
We have reserved a block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plainview located at 4213 W 13th St, Plainview, TX 79072. Please call (806) 296-9900 and mention the Martin-VanBerkum wedding to get our special rate.
Dinner will be served buffet-style. The menu includes salad, ribeye, green chile mac & cheese, baked potatoes, and apple cobbler for dessert- catered by our friends at the Valley Cafe! Feel free to accept or decline any items as you go through the line—we want everyone to enjoy the meal just the way they like it!

The wedding will begin promptly at 5pm. Please arrive 30 minutes early to ensure finding a parking spot and getting settled before the ceremony begins.
We will be having an outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor reception. Weather in West Texas can be unpredictable, but we are expecting it to be sunny and comfortable.
Yes! There is a big paved parking lot available to guests. However, closer spots fill up quick! "Early bird gets the better parking spot" or however that saying goes.
We are delighted to welcome children to the ceremony & early reception. Please be mindful as supervision will be needed. We also ask that kids are prevented from interrupting the ceremony or any special dances.
Unless stated otherwise on your invitation, we are not allowing additional plus ones to our wedding as we would like to keep the guest list limited to those who know us very well.
We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during this time. We have chosen a talented photographer and can't wait to share those pictures with you! However, at the reception pictures are welcome. We would love to see your point of view during this time!
We recommend taking the GPS route provided when looking up the address. Our venue is right off the highway and hard to miss!
