We met through a mutual friend, Kelton, in July of 2018. Taylor had said she wanted to meet a cute wrestler but he couldn’t be one who lost a lot. Lo and behold, Kelton introduced her to Braeden! She thought Braeden was cute and made the first move. (Shocker? No.) We began to text for a few months and were finally able to meet in person over Thanksgiving Break! We were both much cooler in person than we were over the phone/text. On November 22, 2018 Braeden asked Taylor to be his girlfriend in the Big Lots parking lot in Coeur d’ Alene, since we decided our first date would be Black Friday shopping on the night of Thanksgiving.

At the time we started dating, Braeden was wrestling at the University of Mary, in North Dakota. He did this for a year and then decided to move closer to home and continue going to school at Boise State. A year later, Taylor moved to Boise to being her schooling and we moved in together, which then started our lives in Boise with each other!

We have been together 6 years now, and are both pursuing master’s degrees. We are set to graduate in May of 2026. Our lives have changed so much, for the better, since we first met each other! We are so blessed to have each other as well as the other’s family. We can’t wait to be married and to celebrate with all of our friends and family, officially beginning our lives together as the Dickinsons!!
