Is there a registry?

Answer

No! We are both enthusiastic shoppers and have lived together for some time now, so there is nothing we need! Gifts are absolutely not necessary, but if you would like to contribute to the beginning of our marriage, cash for our honeymoon or consumables (i.e. coffee, alcohol, treats, etc.) from your local area would be welcome!

Where should we stay?

See the "travel" page for hotel options! We have not pre-booked any blocks of hotel rooms, so feel free to stay wherever suits you best! As of the spring of 2026, Kelowna has relaxed the restrictions on short term rentals (Airbnb) so there should be some available!

Where should I park?

Answer

There is parking at the Ceremony venue (Off the Grid Winery). There will be parking attendants there to show you where wedding guest parking is. The winery will be open to the public during the event, but there is a section of parking reserved for the wedding. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. The Reception venue (Laurel Packinghouse) is downtown Kelowna. There are two city parkades close by, both on Ellis Street. There is also a lot directly across from the venue, but it is a private lot so it will be more expensive than the parkades.

What if I do not want to drive?

Answer

Kelowna has many taxi companies available: Kelowna Cabs and Current Taxi are two popular options. There is also Uber and a local rideshare company, Uride (https://www.uride.co/locations/kelowna). Please make sure you have a safe ride home!

What's for dinner?

Answer

We are having catered tacos! There will be options for gluten free, and vegetarian/vegan diets. Please make sure to let us know if you have any allergies so we can be sure there is something for everyone!

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

No! We will be having an open bar, although I hear the bartenders provide great service. Tips are welcome!
