FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 3:00 to allow time to get settled before it starts.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outdoors on a beautiful ranch, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this peaceful, rustic setting under the open sky!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by June 20th—or sooner if possible! Please note that we won’t be able to reserve a seat for you if we don’t receive your response. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you, and we’d love for everyone to use it as an excuse to get a little dressed up! Think semi-formal to formal attire—dresses, suits, or anything that makes you feel your best while still honoring the occasion. To help us create the look and feel we envision for the day, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing jeans, green tones, or very light colors (like white, ivory, or beige). We can’t wait to see how stunning you all look—thank you for celebrating with us in style!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. If your invitation includes “and guest” or “and family,” we’ve reserved space for your guest or family members accordingly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be onsite parking.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! Now that we have a little one of our own, we're excited to celebrate this special day with the whole family—kids included.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

During cocktail hour, we’ll be serving snack appetizers, followed by a BBQ buffet for dinner. If you’d like, we’d be happy to welcome any side dishes you’d like to bring!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

There is a space on the RSVP page to list any dietary restrictions.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We have chosen to make our wedding an alcohol-free celebration. Please understand that bringing outside alcohol, including in the parking lot, is not permitted. Anyone who does so will unfortunately, be asked to leave. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this no-exception policy.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we kindly prefer contributions to our honeymoon fund. We also have a few items registered on Amazon and Zola for those who would like to choose something special, as we have been living together for several years and have most of what we need.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

We will be doing a grand exit at 10:30, with everything ending at 11. You are welcome to leave at anytime though.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, to account for wedding party photos, in between the ceremony and reception we will have a cocktail hour with light refreshments and lawn games to keep you busy and entertained.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—that means no phones or cameras out, so everyone can be truly present (and so we don’t have to compete with your selfie sticks!). Don’t worry, there will be a special moment at the end of the ceremony for photos, and after that, the day is all yours to snap away to your heart’s content. We’d also appreciate if you hold off on posting anything on social media until we’ve had our moment in the spotlight online first!

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you wait to share any photos or posts until after we’ve shared ours.
