Where is the venue?

La Pointe events is in Sommerset, WI, a small town 45 minutes northeast of the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.

Question

How can I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Great question! We will provide a free shuttle service to the venue. The shuttle departs at 3:15PM from Water Street Inn in downtown Stillwater. Return shuttles back to Water Street Inn will depart the venue every hour, on the hour, from 9 PM-1AM. There is ample parking at the venue, as well as rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft at reasonable costs. There are also tent-camping spots and RV hookups on-site which can be reserved for an overnight stay.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Anywhere! We want you to prioritize your comfort and preferences! Stillwater, MN and Hudson, WI are close to the venue and have many hotel options. The Friday night events are in Stillwater. Much of the family will be staying at the Water Street Inn in downtown Stillwater. Please see the "Lodging" tab for more information.

Will I be hot/cold/rained on?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside unless there is expected to be severe weather. The reception will be indoors and air conditioned. Please dress accordingly to maximize your comfort.

Anyone invited will be specifically listed on your invitation/RSVP profile. We want to see so many of you, so we are keeping our guestlist to people we know personally.
