The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Posse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Braeden's Papa Rex was on the sheriff's posse many years ago and the posse is the same place her Nana and Papa actually got married! The bride and groom are very excited to be getting married in the same place Braeden's grandparents did.
The couple's dating anniversary is May 22 and they are wanting to keep their wedding date around the same time. And yes, May 25, 2025 is on a Sunday. However, it is also Memorial Day weekend so traveling home on a Monday shouldn't be too much trouble since it is a holiday!
We are okay with kiddos joining us on our special day! As long as they are listed as an RSVP so we can get a correct headcount of guests planning to join us!
We would love to accommodate everybody’s guests however, due to budgeting and venue capacity, we are limiting +1’s to guests whose significant other is named on the invitation!
You can mail in your RSVP, however doing it through our website will make things easier for us to keep track of our guests who will be celebrating with us!
Our venue has a more western feel to it but there is no required attire for our celebration! Come casual or classy! However, our caterers will be outdoors in a dirt plot so boots or close toed shoes are recommended!
May in New Mexico tends to be very warm during the day and can get chilly in the evenings once the sun is down. And it tends to be quite windy in the spring!
We request that our guests do their best to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins! This will allow everyone to park and find a seat in a timely manner to start our day!
Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony. This means we will not be allowing pictures or videos to be taken which allow the us and our guests to be fully present and engaged as we take in this special moment.
