Although Sarah and Brendan had a class together freshman year, their social circles didn’t overlap until they reconnected at the end of high school riding roller coasters together on Senior Skip Day. Thinking it probably wouldn't last, they decided to start dating 1 month before going off to their separate colleges. But thankfully for a free bus that connected Duke and UNC campuses, they decided to give it a real shot. And here we are today!

While living on their converted school bus, Brendan and Sarah visited Yosemite National Park for a week. With a shaky voice and no one else around, Brendan popped the question at the top of a 6-mile hike! He even set up a tripod to capture the moment (pictured below).
