When and where is the ceremony and reception located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are located at the Heyward Manor in Iva, SC. Our intention is for the ceremony to be held right outside, and then have a outdoor/indoor reception. With possibilities of unpredictable weather, our venue allows for us to easily move our ceremony indoors if need be. Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm with the reception following right after.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than August 1st, 2026. You will be able to use our website to easily RSVP. If you are unable to attend, we will miss you greatly! Please RSVP "not attending" as soon as possible. If you do not RSVP at all, or in time, we will assume you are unable to attend. Thank you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We've chosen a semi-formal dress code and cannot wait to see everyone in their best dressed look! We only ask there be no short dresses or jeans. Ladies, midi or ankle/floor length dresses are perfect! We kindly encourage guests to lean toward the more formal side of semi-formal attire, as we would love everyone to use this as a chance to dress to impress!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we are only able to accomodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP through our website and/or on the envelope. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love our little ones, we kindly request that our celebration be an adults-only occasion. We are so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to share this special day with you. We encourage you to treat this as a date night!

Are pictures allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We've hired an amazing photographer and will be having an unplugged ceremony. Wed love for everyone to be fully present with us, so we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like! We will have an option available to make it easy to share these pictures during the reception, you'll find QR codes posted around for that purpose.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes early to allow ample time for parking and finding a seat. Once the ceremony begins, entry will be paused until it concludes to preserve the intimacy of the moment.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us! We’ll have an open bar serving beer, wine, and seltzers. Drink responsibly but get ready to tear up the dance floor!
